The hotel is fabulous. So comfortable, clean and has a really luxurious feel. The staff are so friendly, especially in the bar and restaurant. In fact I would say that the friendliness of the staff was one of the main highlights of our stay at the Meridien. The hotel is absolutely perfect and the staff are eager to help wherever they can, also they are quite happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about Budapest. I would definately revisit this hotel in the future.

(Déak Tér) - As it only 2 yrs old, the apartment is in excellent condition. It was spotlessly clean. The balcony was a good size and looked out over the central courtyard. Within 30 mtrs of the apartment are two great restaurants, and it is well placed for the city centre attractions. It also only 5mins from Deak Ferenc Ter where all the Metro's connect. Recommend it.

The apartments are equipped with everything you need for a short
vacation or a long stay. The metro station is 5 mins walk away, as are
the starting points for all the tourists hop-on buses. It is located
within the gozsdu court where there are nice cafes and bars around. The
artists market is also fun to walk through. The staff helped us with
information on the sights and transport and even got us discounts on
some bookings.

We were absolutely amazed by this hotel. We work for an airline and visit many hotels, but this was by far the BEST HOTEL we have ever stayed in. Facilities includes sauna, indoor swimming pool and jacuzi.These can make you relaxed after long-hour walks.I strongly recommend this hotel.

It was a great stay in Budapest - the hotel was absolutely great (from
the large rooms to the spa) and I've found the staff very helpful
(unlike a few other reviews I've read). The apartments are very well
equipped and clean. Since it's located in the heart of Budapest
there's a lot of things to do near the hotel and the closest metro
station is a few hundred meters away.

We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!
