  The owner was lovely and welcomed us very nicely even though we arrived very late. The room was fairly basic but extremely clean and tidy and we had a good nights sleep. It was a short drive to the lake where we drove to the following morning. - everything was perfect , clean , nice location for walk to city center , excellent breakfast

  Fantastic location only 1 min walk to lake front. Apartment beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped. Csaba picked us up and run us back to the train station at no cost. He was on hand if we had any problems (which we didn't) and could not have been more helpful.   We had an absolutely fantastic holiday there in June. The owners, a very nice couple, did their best to make our stay unforgettable. We had fantastic breakfasts - whatever we wanted to have. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spaceous, with comfortable beds and stylish bathrooms. There is a beautiful garden with outdoor swimming pool.   It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time. Large room with balcony and fridge, very clean, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful host (he had a map with suggested walking tour and made great restaurant recommendations). We were on a bike trip across Hungary and he let us park the bikes in the garage. Fast wifi, satellite TV with hundreds of channels. B - We enjoyed everything about our stay. Our host was most obliging and helpful. Our room was spacious, air-conditioned and well set-up. The WiFi worked well. There was a good selection of food at breakfast with the option of some cooked eggs, etc. The hotel was close to a small supermarket if you needed some supplies and it was 10-15 minutes walk from the basilica/castle area and some excellent restaurants which our host recommended. Parking was easy.

  A pleasant surprise in an off-the-beaten-track area with numerous things to like. Friendly and helpful staff. Bike rental available and a good bike path runs along the Danube.
