  Beautiful location in suburban hilltop part of Eger with wonderful view of the city below from balcony. Overall, good value for themoney. Comfortable and pleasant room but super-tiny bathroom. Breakfast (typical buffet for Hungarian hotels) was in the Panorama Hotel run by the owners, just down the street.   Located on the hilltop in a nice quiet residential area just behind the town centre. Our room was right at the top and had a lovely view of the nearby mountains. Panorama Hotel is home -like, very friendly and comfortable pensione type accomodation. My room was huge, with a balcony. I couldnt quite see the town from it. breakfasts were plentiful and good quality. Hosts were wonderful. Very good value for money.

  I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Ferienhaus Apartmanház Zalánki in Eger, Hungary. Eger, a city of 57, 000 people, abounds with historical and natural attractions. A bus ride from Budapest (Stadion Metro station) to Eger takes only two hours. Fabulous apartment with gorgeous terrace and spectacular view over the old town. Need a car to access but in a very upscale neighborhood high above the city. The host is a charming gentleman who speaks perfect English and serves you wine from his own vineyard which is very good. Apt has everything you could need and lots of room. I hated to leave and would love to return.
