  We had wonderful 4 days in a beatiful stonehouse with stunning views of the mountains. Helena served very delicious homemade cretan food for breakfast, and was extremely friendly. Calm, quiet except for goats and sheep passing, beautiful garden with flowers all around.   Villa Kerasia was lovely! The owner, Babis, was immensly helpful. He went out of his way to help with the small details (made personal calls to help me find the camera battery charger I forgot to pack, for example). The food was delicious, the property was unique and well- decorated, and the countryside surrounding Villa Kerasia was stunning. This is not the place if you're looking for endless parties and sandy beaches. It is actually away in the mountains (although about 20 kms to Iraklio), so it's ideal to relax while enjoying great views. Breakfast was excellent.
