Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service

The staff was very helpful, the room was large, very comfortable and clean and they even provided with a temporary room to leave our luggage in and have a shower (after we checked out on the day of departure). Lovely decor and rustic style. Villa with its own pool is very spacious and private. Breakfast was good quality. Good base if you are looking to travel around western Crete by car. -

Nice resort, very comfortable with children, many different pools, beaches, playgrounds, activities for kids. Friendly staff, nice gardens. Water park next to the resort was good. -

Without a doubt, the staff. We really enjoyed the time we spent at Amazones due to the warmth of Dejan and Dmitri who looked after us. The welnesscenter and the restaurant aren't finished yet, but because of their very high servicelevel you don't miss it. We were planning for a bit of a treat when we booked at Diktyan Villas and we were not to be disappointed. Though the place was a bit tricky to find in this cozy village, once we got to there we discovered the fabulous owners had taken every step to make sure we felt welcome.

Beautiful accomodation in a fantastic situation .Anatoli means "sunrise" these villas face the south coast and the view out to sea in the morning sunshine is amazing ! Manolis and Maria are friendly and couteous though they do not speak much English. Anatoli is abeautiful village.
