  Mr. Argiris, the hotel manager/owner was very attentive and willing to help us in everything. They have a shuttle service (not free though, but reasonable) to take you into town, where ever you want to go. He also suggested where to go first.   We really had a great time. fira (karterados) is the perfect location for a relaxing holiday especially in june. Thea Studios is well located, close to the center, restaurants, bars, etc. You can easily rent a quad and exploring the island with pleasure.   A fantastic hotel runs by a fantastic family. We were there for 4 nights with 3 teenagers. The children slept in an apartment-loft while my husband and I were in the windmill: very romantic and lovely. The pool area is wonderful, with nice sunbeds. From the pool area, turn around an be charmed by the beautiful view over F - The staff is wonderful and do all they can to accomodate their guests. They arranged for a rental car at a good price. The hotel is quite nice, quiet and very well kept. It has a beautiful pool area. The room was rather large and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast is good and has a good number of choices. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from downtown Fira. The road is not heavily travelled by motorists but is a bit dark so preferable to bring a flashligh

  The hotel was excellent! Very helpful and friendly staff! It was located right in the middle of the island which made it easy to get around. It wasn't directly in any of the cities which was very nice. You will most likely want a car, but we talked to the front desk and reserved on for us. Stay here and you won't be disappoin - everything is beyond expectation It's a excellent stopover on the way from the port to Fira. Actually it's in the middle of the island. There is a bus stop in front of the Kalisperis Hotel.You spend one third price of the hotels in Fira or Oia, and you get quietness. Beside,there are 2 supermarkeks in 5 minutes walking distance. everything there is cheapper than other markets on this island.

  John and his staff could not do enough for their guests. Everything about the Galatia Villas was a 10+, with beautifully appointed guest rooms and receptiont area. Each guest room had it's own perfectly tended garden. He drove to pick us up when we couldn't find the place. The room was huge for European standards, with full dining table and kitchen. There is a private courtyard in which the owner lights votive candles at night so you can enjoy the evening. Note that it is not a view property and you do have to walk up hill 8-10 minutes to town. Excellent value. I recommend it.
