Altes Rathaus Wolfhagen is 300 metres from the Wolfhager Land Regional Museum. The surrounding Habichtswald Nature Park is ideal for hiking and cycling. The Rathaus Wolfhagen is a 15-minute walk from Wolfhagen Train Station. Kassel is a 30-minute drive away via the nearby A44 motorway. The historic cellar of the Altes Rathaus features pictures of Wolfhagen. It is regularly used for readings, children’s theatre and other cultural events.

Great room on corner so views to fountain and to the side of hotel. Lots of space and very clean. Breakfast was extra at €7 each but was well worth it - up there with the best breakfasts of our trip. Wolfhagen was a stopover for us on the way back home and well worth it. Very very quiet town but lovely old timber houses. This is an excellent family run hotel. The hospitality is first rate, the rooms large and comfortable, the food great, and the building is amazing. You cannot better the location and it is fantastic value for money. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
