We've been travelling for over three months now and this is the best hotel we've stayed in. The staff were amazing; the rooms were clean and quiet; wifi was reliable; the breakfast was a huge buffet and there was coffee to go. It was great to leave the car in the free carpark and walk the 2km across the Mosel River into Trier - an amazing historical city. For joggers - head up the hill and onto one of the beautiful forest trails. I was lucky enough to have a rare sighting of a badger. Dinner in

outside of town, the hotel has a good public bus connection to Trier.

Our room was fabulous and very clean. It had a nice shower and a bathtub(!), plus a hair drier and magnifying mirror for makeup. We liked every aspect of normal hotel amenities found at the ante porta. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was perfectly designed for function and comfort, the bathroom answered all needs, the breakfast was sensational and the location superb. The parking was convenient and secure. I would stay at this hotel and any other just like it anywhere in the world if available.
