Beautifully set on the water's edge and lovely room. Very new hotel so everything is in excellent condition, yet the rustic quality of the log finish makes it feel homely rather than sterile. Nice deck overlooking the canals and waterways. Very quiet. -

This is a dream hotel for weekend with friends - great facilities, wonderful restaurants and bars, superb rooms and service. A perfect combination of old-fashioned style and modern comfort. This is a great hotel and well deserving of its 4 start rating. We did get a double upgrade to the executive suite which was superb but the standard is reflected throughout the hotel. Location! It's next to Hofgarten (nice park with playground for small children) which you walk through 5-10min to get to the edge of the city centre. From there it was very easy and quick to get to the different Christmas markets, shopping areas, restaurants etc.
