  We booked the Star for Thursday night only as the Mercure where we were based during the Bahá'í Conference did not have their special negotiated rate until Friday. We had a large, double aspect room with tea/coffee-making facilities, t.v. and en-suite shower.   Hotel is literally at the terminal station of the tram 17 which takes you to Hauptbahnhof in less than 15 minutes. I've stayed in many hotels in the suburbs of different cities, and this was one of the closest to the public transport. Huge double bed! Nice bathroom. Friendly night staff - we arrived really late (5 am) and there was no problem with the check in. - Everything was perfect. We arrived very late (2am) but were well received and the rooms were ready for us. The rooms were clean and the beds VERY comfortable after a long trip on the road. Pity we couldn't stay longer.
