The hotel staff were very professional and polite, the room was very clean and comfortable. We didn't have time to make use of the additional facilities, so cannot make any comment about them. The hotel was in exactly the right spot for us - opposite the Thomaskirche, next door to the Bach Museum, the Gewandhaus 5 minutes away. St Nicholas Church down the road. This is a basic hostel for students and backpackers. It is not a hotel. It is clean, secure, centrally located and excellent value for money, but it is not a hotel: there are no carpets on the floor, no furniture to speak of etc. -
