It was very clean, well-located and quiet. The close proximity of the city and the abundance of public transport were also very important. This is a great hotel to stay in for ease of visiting Koln and Bonn, yet only a very short distance away from the crowded tourist areas. - The relaxed friendly atmosphere , location is excellent

We had a very clean, comfortable room overlooking the street on the first floor. The custom built furnishings were very nice, as was the walk in shower. Very comfortable bed. The windows are easy to open and had blackout curtains. The staff was incredibly gracious and helpful and the additional breakfast was well worth the price and had lots of va

Liz from KL summed it up well. We had the top floor room which is split over two levels, and fro the top level we could see the Dom. Very convenient location, close to railway station and there is a suburban line almost right underneath the hotel now, so convenient to arrive into the city by train. Breakfast was outstanding, with local gourmet ingredients. Great staff. Quiet location too, set on a quiet back street just outside the central part of town. Highly recommend this place.

We thought that the standard of cleanliness and service of Sofitel was excellent and the food in the restaurant and tapas bar was also of high quality. The room was superb, very spacious& the decor was very funky&modern, bed was lovely&comfortable.the location is great only a 5 min walk to the old town along the river with some great places to eat&enjoy a few drinks.
