I have to say that the Hessischer Hof is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. three stops in from the airport is the Hbf, where majority of the city's hotels are. It is also the Red Light District. Many reviews have issues with the area, but this doesnt reflect on the hotel to me. If you're in Frankfurt for more than a few nights, go further into the city or rent an apartment

Hot drink facilities even in the single rooms. Outside on the streets: prostitutes, drug dealers, mayhem. A suitable hotel for a blitz biz trip only.

We booked the Star for Thursday night only as the Mercure where we were based during the Bahá'í Conference did not have their special negotiated rate until Friday. Jumeirah Frankfurt is a modern luxurious hotel located in the heart of Frankfurt shopping areas. Excellent room, very clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom with rain shower and bathtub with l'occitane toiletries. Very good breakfast with is served in the hotel restaurant but for an extra cost (in our cost).
