Excellent location practically beside the Cathedral. The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and the apartment didn't have any features that were not kid friendly like sharp cornered tables, lots of trinkets etc.. We had three children under age four and it went smoothly. They loved looking out the window at all the action outside. The supply of free coffee and a bottle of beer was a nice touch too. The apartment's management office was very easy to find just steps from the main train station and the staff there was very friendly. The apartment itself is very spacious and on the ground floor so we didn't have to lug our bags up flights of stairs. It was within easy walking distance to the Dom and all the sights in the town square. We had a great stay from the very start. At check in the lady gave us loads of information about the best Christmas markets and was really welcoming. Convenient location near train station, an easy walk even with bags. But
we had a car and there was also covered parking for €10 (reservation

Loved the location of the hotel which is so close to the DOM Cathedral, the Rhine River (which extends to 4 countries) the city center with shops, pick up point for city tour and Cologne's tourist center. It was really close to the Hauptbahnhof, so it helped us a lot, considering that we were carrying heavy bags. It was really comfortable and we had a nice internet connection (usually it's not that good) for work and skype. -
