  Professional approach of all staff - nothing was too much trouble. Anticipated our needs prior to request. Food was excellent. Very hard to beat. Friendly and helpful at all times. A great place to visit. Would definitely come back again!

  Loved the staff, room and breakfast. The parking was directly across from the room. We were given a passbook for each guest with discounts for major attractions. Unfortunately we ran out of time before we ran out of things to do. We will be going back to Hornberg and will stay here again. - Room was wide and very comfortable. Honestly, the alternative restaurant could be even better than the one at the hotel!

  This was a surprise. It is a wonderful old grand hotel built on the site of a ruined castle, with mediaeval tower and dungeons still there. The room we had looked over the village, typical of the the Black Forest. It is a little out of town, and way up on a hill, but that gave lovely views. Ask the owner to show you what's under the hotel. - This hotel is in a lovely location with great surroundings with wonderful views. The staff are superbly trained and very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is excellent.
