Great hotel. Really good breakfast in the morning. About a 10 minute walk from downtown and there are a few restaurants a little closer than that. Only about 8-10 minute drive to castle ticket office. And it's possible to get a mountain view room although we didn't have one. Great little terrace on the back porch to sit and drink wine (we brought our own) after a hard day of touring.

We enjoyed very much our staying there at the Gastehous Kopf with charming hostesses Carmen and Martina. The quality-price ratio was brilliant! We had a well equipped kitchenett and we really enjoyed our cooking there. It took us about 20 min to get to the center of the town or the Railway Station by walk and for about 5 minutes to Forgensee lak

Super friendly staff. The receptionist gave us maps of the area and the
attractions as soon as we arrived and explained tickets and parking
around the castles. Nice breakfast option with great variety and fresh
eggs. The room was not just clean, it was hospital, hygienic level
clean! The bathroom and shower were a comfortable size. And the room
even had a fully equipped kitchenette that we chose to use when we were
tired of restaurant food.

Owner is very accommodating. He made the best hot chocolate ever for us one evening, drove us to the train station (within walking distance but we had to meet up with an early morning tour group)His wife serves an excellent breakfast. Room is spacious and very clean bathroom. -

After seeing many critisiz view on net, the apartment suprized me. Quite sizeble with a bed room, a kitchen, a bath with tube, a living room with balcony opposite the lake. covinent for parking, nice staff who told me that I can park in their chain restaurant in old town for free. -

Wonderful stay! The small village location is fantastic, just north
of the Bavarian castles and Fussen. There is a wonderful German
restaurant 1 block away. Cattle were being herded through the street
in the morning. The staff was extremely nice and the rooms were
