  This hotel was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly, spoke very good english. The hotel room was excellent and very close to the castles. Nice restaurants very nearby, walking distance from train station. Hotel had such a great breakfast in the morning including champagne. Would highly recommend this hotel.   New owner, Peter, very friendly and informed. Room was beautifully remodeled with fabulous view of Lake Hopfensee and mountains in background. Took dry sauna in lower level and other amenities are being developed for spa like experience there as well.   If you visit this place once it will stay long not only in your memory but deep in your heart. Fairy tail nature is added by very nice and friendly people who are living and coming there. Very nice comforta - Great hotel in a beautiful location, overlooking the lake! The room was lovely - beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Kitchenette in the apartment which was a bonus, including dishwasher. You get a "Fussen Card" during your stay, which gives you free public transport and a discount on your castle tickets. The hotel is easy to get to, a 5-10 min drive or 15min bus ride from Fussen. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel (Strandbad Hopfensee) where you can get bus 56 which comes eve

Onsite parking is in the back of the hotel. Our family room was large, very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the town square and the mountains. The hotel has a bakery as a storefront and an excellent restaurant. Breakfast was very generous and excellent.
