We loved Villa Barbara and will stay there again. The owner was extremely nice and spoke great English. He had a map of the tram and bus lines for us to use and showed us some places of interest on the map. The tram stop is 50 meters from the apartment and the system is very easy to navigate. We spent 8 days at Villa Barbara apartment and we liked a lot. The apartment is spacious, clean and well furnished. It locates very close to a tram and bus station, that connects us to the whole city.
For our surprise, the owner is Brazilian and she has received us very well and gave us several tips about the city.
I recommend Villa Barbara to families, groups of friends etc.

Perfect apartment in all aspects. It consists of a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Very clean.
Plenty of cutlery, pots and pans, crockery and other utensils in the kitchen.

Landlord was very kind and helpful. He wasn't available during the check-in time, but the keys could be taken from a keybox. For check-out I was asked just to leave keys on the table and close the door. Apartment equipped very well and clean, available towels and hairdryer. City maps, tarif plans for public transport also available for guests. Fully-equipped kitchen, two nice bedrooms and living-room. The room was perfectly clean, beds comfortable. The staff was very pleasant, willing to help, friendly, speaks good English. Breakfast was really excelent with varied choice of different food, although the dinning room was quite small, breakfast was pleasurable experience. Really good location, close to tram and it was only 15-20 minut slow walk to the city center so we didn´t get the tram.

The atmosphere was wonderful. The staff was very kind and friendly. The rooms have interesting desighn and are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is so charming that you want spend there almoust all your time :) This hoxtel propose might every evening some nice things like free dinner or grill-partys. In this hostel both young people and families with children feel themselves comfortable :) I think it's nice

Not for everyone. Located out of the tourist area in a neighborhood with
lots of restaurants, night life, and eclectic shops. Good access to
public transportation to the city sights. A great way to experience a

Nice place especially for walking trips along the river to and from the city. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast. There will be an opening of the new bridge very close to the hotel at the end of August which will make the position of the hotel even more attractive for the tourists.
