It was a lovely cabin on the river. The room was cosy and clean with a
nice view of the river and easy access for a walk along the river.
It's a perfect location and peaceful surroundings to stay in if you
would like to visit beautiful Macon city which is a 5 minute drive away.
The farm animals on the property were nice to see too.

The reception clerk was particularly helpful and drew us a map of the restaurant we wished to go to.The situation of the hotel near the River Saone was excellent. The decor, the staff and the room facilities were excellent. Within easy walking distance of everything.
It's just a pity that Mâcon itself is a little short on tourist attraction. We were "passing through" on our way from Italy to Cherbourg so were not unduly concerned. But for anyone visiting the city for any reason, this is a first class choice

This is a very comfortable hotel overlooking the river Soane. Our room was soundproofed and there was no problem with traffic noise as reported by others. Parking had been reserved for us as requested. There are excellent nearby restaurants sited on either side of the river bank and also friendly bars. The city shopping centre is also a few metres away.

They made room so we could park our car outside the hotel. We asked for
a quiet room and were given one at the back of the hotel which was

Very friendly owners and very helpful. Although hotel has no own parking, they offered to take bikes off car and store overnight on premisses. Parking was 5 min up the road.
Clean, tastefull rooms and excellent value breakfast.

The hotel was ideal for an overnight stop. It is close to the towncentre and provides reasonable accommodation. The first room we wereallocated smelt strongly of cigarette smoke but they willing moved us toanother bigger room which was fine. - LOcation to train station

The owners of the B & B are very friendly and accommodating. The house is traditional in a lovely setting. We had dinner one night and it was delightful with plenty of food and wine. We did not travel by car and the owners were happy to collect us from the train station. Great friendly service all round.
Macon is a lovely town with a stunning waterfront. Only 1.5 hours by TGV from Paris!
