  There was very little going on because it was so early in the season. But it was a quiet, pretty location. Plenty of heating when it was cold outside!

  Amazing characterful chateau. This was our second visit and most definately we will visit again next year. We had almost the whole of the ground floor-stunning windows almost floor to ceiling. The terraces from the lounge to the garden afford excellent views of the grounds (not perfectly cut lawns, but plenty of wooded space to explore. There is a feeling of the place being conserved and improved by the pres - We love the building, it was spectacular and the grounds were nice too. We also liked the location, seconds off the D919 which is the main road that takes you through all the First World War places of interest (which was our reason for visiting this area again). The room was clean and the young lady who showed us to our room was friendly and helpful. The chateau was peaceful and the village was interesting, we had some lovely walks around the area.   This is probably the best romantic trip me and my wife have ever experienced. Who has not dreamed about living in a tree house.? Well here it is and it is worth trying.
