  The ambience was great- it is a genuine French small hotel, an old building with a more modern 1970's-80's wing behind, where most of the rooms were. It is set in a quiet, small village opposite the village school and its clock!. Tractors occasionally drove past en route to cut the corn in the surrounding fields.
