Staying at La Bonne Amie was the most pleasant surprise that we have ever encountered while traveling in France over the past thirty years! swans gliding by, excellent hosts including a lovely friendly dog, a
hearty breakfast (we wished we had taken advantage of the evening meal
option, although there are restaurants nearby on the river bank) ,
drinks in the evening onboard in the balmy early October weather, and
the fantastic unpretentious village of Samois-sur-Seine where everyone
plays music like its most famous past resident - Django Reinhardt.

The hotel locates a bit uphill, so you have some view in the backyards. It is also not far from the outlet, only 5km. The dinner was to my supprise a bit like Chinese, and totally worth it!
The attic room is bigger than I thought with a dining table also airco.

On arrival we were given an upgrade and it really made our stay extra special. The decor of the hotel is fantastic. Wonderful greatly designed hotel with special atmosphere. We really apprecciated that hotel upgraded our suite to penthouse pavillion - exceptional 3-floor separatle standing building with great spa area inside. Service is great and professional, also consierge service. We liked that hotel being in the center is standing in a quite place. This hotel is for pleasure, relax, good mood.

The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We had an extra person join us in the room, they were able to give us a suite, they got us reservations for a show that was booked when we tried to call etc. The breakfast that is included was great!! The staff was incredible and more along the lines of what I wuld expect from a 5 star hotel. The gentleman who works during the evenings got us an unforgetable dinner after 9 pm on Valentines Day. Then he was more then willing to make some phone calls in order to make sure we could get into an excellent night club.

The hotel is superb. It's small and perfectly designed. Luxurious but not gaudy. Also the small feel of the hotel makes it feel so private and is such a refreshing change from the big business hotels that feel cold and generic. One of the best hotels I stayed in Paris (although 50 km away) it is

I love this hotel. Have stayed several times. It is so comfortable and relaxing. Like the honesty bar, the two sitting rooms, the free wifi with no password. Love their house room scent. Great to have somewhere so relaxing in Paris where coming back to the hotel is a real treat.

The hotel's location is excellent - major attractions within walking
distance. Our rooms ( looking over Place des Pyramides/Rue de Rivoli
) were spacious and spotless offering fine expansive views taking in the
Eiffel Tower and Louvre, two Paris icons - what's not to love?!
Regina's staff were very friendly and accommodating helping to make
the stay there was most enjoyable. Am not able to comment on food at the
hotel as we ate out at all times.
