  Small hotel in a small village with few facilities. The hotel has been / is being substantially modernised and there are currently some odd contrasts between "before" and "after" - eg very advanced bathroom squeezed into somewhat limited space and alongside a small bedroom. Parking was readily available. The décor is not to everyone's taste but was homely and comfortable with surprisingly modern bathroom.

  Everything was superb, the room, the breakfast, the dinner, the wine, the price, the pool, the sauna, the towns of Mosheim, Rosheim, Obernai all within 10 minutes....And not a child in sight at the hotel. Bliss! We are about to book another stay there. - Reception staff extremely helpful

  We only stayed overnight at the end of a 3-week journey, so we appreciated the quietness and slight remoteness of the place. - Place is reasonable with room rate. Big room and clean.

  L'ami Fritz was a gem. Ottrott is a strategically located village for exploring the Alsace Wine Route as well as the Vosges Mountains. The hotel was charming, rooms comfortable and quiet, hotel staff very friendly, and the hotel owner chef offers wonderful gourmet dinners, Breakfast is served in a delightful room and is excellent.   It was cosy hotel, nice and calm, in a lovely location. Included in price, the use of hotel pool and sauna, an extra plus. Also, breakfast was great. A nice touch was the home made jam one was given when checking out.

  This is a very nice small guest type hotel in a convenient location if visiting the ww!! Sites. It is easy to find along the road although quiet. We had a room in the back. They have a lovely garden setting right outside the rooms in the back and we relaxed for a while before dinner.
