Despite the hotel being right on a very busy main road, lots of lorries, our room at the back was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Brilliant shower. The staff were excellent, particularly the young lady on Reception who spoke excellent English and showed us to our room. The evening meal at 18 Euros was an absolute revelation as was the sight of the diners avoiding what looked like a hole in the floor but was actually a glass panel into the wine cellar!!! An excellent menu and all of very . wszystkie opinie »
Booked this as an overnight stay on route from Calais to Alps. It was better than expected! Family room was large and well furnished with big ensuite (& jacuzzi type bath!). Swimming pool was a great bonus after 8 hours in the car. Lovely evening meal in the courtyard - reasonable set price for 3 courses. Gorgeous pastries for breakfast (we were up early so they tasted freshly baked).
A lovely hotel in a picturesque location. A great stopover location when travelling south. The rooms were clean, modern and functional. On site restaurant was superb, serving excellent food and wine. The bonus for us was the swimming pool.
Very quiet place, easy to find. Friendly staff, nice breakfast with warm croissant and pain au chocolat.
We booked a family room for 4 people and the room was big enough for us and comfortable.
Wonderful food in restaurant at great prices.
Excellent and friendly family run hotel.
Very convenient for overnight stay en route between South of France and channel ports.
Good Restaurant with resonable price.
Room at the backside of the hotel so no noice from travic.
Nice friendly staff.
Will use this hotel in the future again.
Friendly staff. Delightful room in lovely building in heart of village. Relaxing garden and courtyard. Breakfast plentiful and good choice of items.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the evening meal was superb. The breakfast and room was very good and the hotel is set in a lovely village.
Good little restaurant on site. The hotel is in an adorable picturesque village. Pool on the premises. Sweet staff. Room very correct.
Friendly staff
Fantastic room with Jacuzzi bath & plenty of space
Lovely restaurant
Definitely visit again if possible.
Loved the location, the big room and great facilities. Staff were really pleasant and restaurant excellent.
Good stop over, handy for a quick visit to Troyes. Large room that was quiet overnight. Good restaurant.
Clean room, comfy beds, spotless toilet and excellent shower. Nice staff. Restaurant is amazing value.
Very reasonably priced hotel with excellent food - a good stop over on route to the South.
Very clean and comfortable rooms excellent quality and value for money food.
the staff were really friendly. the breakfast was superb and great value.
large room. huge bathroom/jacuzzi bath. helpful reception staff.
Lovely hotel in lovely location. Restaurant served great food.
Excellent room and evening meal. Breakfast was good value.
Perfectly comfortable and pleasant hotel.
Excellent staff
interesting building.
Excellent value and very good staff.
Good food and atmosphere.
Very pleasant setting.
Location in a medieval village. Unusual hotel built around a courtyard. Always ask for a room at the rear of the premises as the road in front is very busy! Reasonably priced restaurant located in a tithe barn. Good breakfast for 9 euros.
if you are obliged to stay in Piney, why not staying over here. The restaurant is ok, but don't expect too much.
Comfortable, large room. Staff helpful when not doubling as
restaurant staff.
Good place to stop over on way to Italy.
Enormous market building in Piney.
Parking might be free but there isn't a lot of it and it's best described as slightly off street. We had a concern about stuff in the car. But there is plenty available in the area around.
Nothing. Would like to return as we all loved this hotel.
Nothing to dislike.
Very close to road through village which carries a lot of traffic (even at night) - therefore very noisy.
Noisy, heavy goods lorries driving past hotel.
On a busy road during the day, no secure parking.
Parking at the Hotel might be free but it's mostly on-street. We had to park in the nearby square next to the Pizza van.
Wine in restaurant a bit pricey but cost of a 3 course meal @ 18.50€ makes up for it.
location on busy road away frm any attractions plus some distance from any resltalurants. went by car to a restaurant.
Room 8 location overlooked the main road and the noise of the passing HGV's was noticeable.
Very quiet village in Feburary.
Having to leave!.
Hotel had no notification of our arrival.
We stayed in mid winter and the top room we were in could have been a little warmer.
The towels were a very discoloured 'white'! Also the sheets were not ironed properly & at first glance appeared to have not been changed - on further inspection I am sure they had, but were just wrinkled.
some staff members were not that friendly; the room clearly needed some updating.
We didn't have a cot in our room as promised and staff very rushed
when we arrived as we were late, and dinner was being served in the
attached restaurant, but once we had eaten they redeemed themselves got
us a cot and were very helpful.
27.5 degrees of heat in the room but staff refused to allow access to air conditioner on the grounds that a) it's not that hot in September and b) they want to conserve the environment. This is clearly rubbish as the hotel is not environmentally friendly - plastic tables and chairs everywhere - they just want to save money, my money.
