The location of the studio was perfect. It was 15minutes walking to the Eiffel Tower and the Ecole Militaire and Pont De L'Alma stations. Lots of places to grab a croissant and some coffee on either side of the studio and places around to have lunch and dinner as well. There was also a grocery store nearby where you can get just about anything from laundry detergent to vegetables. The location could not be better. When you stepped out of the courtyard you saw the Eiffel Tower from the street. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. Rue Clare is very close. Bus #69 that is a great connecter to the city stops steps from this location. In addition the studio is awesome. The kitchen is very well equipped for the budgeted traveler. You could easily provide for yourself 3 meals a day. We just did breakfast and snacks. I could see renting this little nest fo.
This ground floor studio is well-situated near the Seine the Eiffel Tower & a metro station in a normal residential area in a building with a gated courtyard. The studio is naturally very small but is well-equipped. The owner emails instructions & has someone there to meet you with a key. We enjoyed our stay at Studio Bourdonnais.
What a fabulous little studio. Clean warm and very cosy. Well equipped and Mme Daquin extremely friendly and welcoming. Wonderful location and overall experience.
Its smallish but it was advertised as a studio so cannot complain too much. otherwise everything was perfect.
The TV was hard to figure out. We really just wanted it for background noise but it took a while to get it going. Coming from Canada we found it dark as we are not used to the courtyard style of housing and we are not used to 10 foot windows with 10 foot shutters. It was the week before the time was to change so I am sure it would be better earlier in the year. On the positive side of a negative we had great sleep in mornings that were appreciated on vacation.
Nothing significant. Just to remind that this is not a five star hotel but a small studio.
