The area this hotel is in excellent, and close to the metro (1 minute away). The staff are pleasant to deal with and very helpful. The rooms could use some updating, the furnishings were older but the beds were in good condition and clean. The bathrooms had the most upgrading, but our shower in the twin room was missing a hook for the shower head so we had to tie the shower head to the pipe in order to have a hands-free shower. The water pressure was good. The free use of computer in the lobby

The hotel was in a great central location. It was a short walk to Notre
Dame (I have a slight walking disability) but could handle the walk. The
bus stop is directly across the street from the hotel and ATM's are
next door or across the street. It was such a short walk to the Seine.

I liked my room - a single room on the sixth floor, small, well-appointed, quiet and comfortable; I liked the breakfast - yogurt, cereal, juice, eggs, sausage, ham, toast, bread, pain au chocolat, coffee...; I liked the location, close to the sights and restaurants and boutiques of St. Germain des Pres but on a quiet street; I liked the helpful staff. Great location & staff. Fantastic area for eating in casual cafes everywhere, explore back streets as endless great food.
So quiet even though in a busy area.
Metro around corner so not even a block away for sightseeing etc
Shopping is also fab just walk, sales were in second week of July, up to 50% off designer clothing.
Very safe area as grandmother, mother and daughter all traveling together, highly recommend.
