The location was brilliant, on a quiet street close to the pedestrian centre of Lille.
It is a 4 guest room B&B in a 140 year old town house - but what rooms and what a house. The décor was faultless and the standard of cleanliness up with the best we have ever encountered - anywhere!

Our stay at La Maison was all and more than we expected. Much has already been said by others- but this B and B is very special. Luxurious, spacious, spotlessly clean, and the owners and hosts look after every need. Breakfasts were generous and filling- you wont really need lunch! We were picked up from the station in Denis' London cab- and from that moment we were offered the highest standard of service and care. Thankyou Maison- we loved our stay. The apartment was big, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It is well located, close to supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and also to most of tourist attractions in the city. Our hosts were very kind. We liked the place very much and we highly recommend it.

We returned to the wonderful best Western Why for a night to attend the Lille Braderie. This is a great comfy little hotel with good sound proofing, great views and an excellent position just off the Grand Place. The guy who dealt with us on reception was very very kind and efficient.
This hotel is a little gem....modern, chic, perfectly placed for the centre of town.
Room was stunning, new, fresh and very trendy. High quality cosmetics in the bathroom. Nespresso machine with genuine cartridges. Free mini bar. It really couldn't get any better. If you have chance book a lunchtime meal, the chef is clearly very good. I will definitely return!
