  The friendliness of the staff. They spoke English and Spanish which helped because we spoke little French. The room was so comfortable. We had a plumbingproblem with our original room and immediately we were upgraded to abetter room at no extra charge. We will stay there again, found thelocation excellent and we enjoyed this hotel more than the expensive 5star hotels where we previously stayed in Paris (Champs Elysee area).

  Very nice hotel. Nicely decorated room, comfortable bed, delicate bathroom, friendly staff. We had our baby with us, and the hotel offered a baby cot free of charge. Also, the location is great. Just around the corner you have Place de la Republique with several good places to have breakfast / brunch. Our favourite was Café de la Republique. I.e. this is a good locatio - The staff were really helpful and were happy to put our stroller in the cloak room each night so we didn't have to struggle with it in the tiny elevator. Also we had left a small item behind and they were happy to post it back to us. The rooms are small, but it was enough for our little 18 month old to roam around and stretch his legs.   I liked everything about the hotel. The room was spacious enough and very clean. The bathroom was comfortable and big enough. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The hotel even provides the guests with umbrellas - in a rainy city like Paris it is definitely a big plus! A perfect place to relax after a long day at work.   Clean and fair hotel with gentle staff. 5 minutes from parmentier metro station or 10 minutes walk to repubblique square. Recently renovated.
