  We stayed in a family room on the 8th (top) floor. It was clean, air-conditioned, had separate toilet and shower and 2 vanities, great views from our room and the roof. We were just 3blocks from the Moulin Rouge where we had dinner and saw the show...fabulous!   Lovely hotel, very clean and modern, deluxe room a great size and third bed comfortable and ample size for my 6'2" tall son. Great location with easy access to Metro. As a single mum travelling with two teenagers, did not find the 'lively location' a problem at all, it added to the fun. No noise from other rooms or location during night.   We are in our early fifties (still 18 in mind) On paper/screen, this hotel ticked all of our boxes, situated a stones throw from the metro it combines the ease of access to the Parisian must sees but still seeing the real city in all its glory. Like films, all very personal and others opinions - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had accidentally booked our bus ticket for the wrong day and didn't find out until the day of and the friendly Receptionist helped us contact the agency to rectify the issue. Thank goodness! The location was close to Gare du Nord and easy to find. The metro is a block away and very convenient (just be mindful of pickpockets when you are entering the metro, anywhere in Paris, as a matter of fact). This Best Western is also located 10 minutes away

When I handed my booking reference in the gentleman checking us in noticed i had blacked out the price and asked if it was a surprise, I advised it was for my husbands birthday and he wished my husband a happy birthday and asked if he could invite us to the bar for a complimentary cocktail or glass of cha... co mówią ludzie » mpagne to celebrate, which was a much appreciated gesture and wonderful start to our trip. We were then shown to our room which we were very impressed - The staff without exception were superb and couldn't do enough to help. We had a three night stay, changing to a different themed room each day. All of the rooms were great and although "compact and bijou" were plenty big enough for our needs. We had a great time in Paris aided in no small part by the knowledge that at the end of each day we would be returning to the Secret. We would recommend without hesitation and will definitely be staying there again.
