Even though the hotel was rather 'tired' it had everything I wanted - room service, a kettle in the room, bathrobe, and one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in in a hotel for a long time! A modern clean hotel very close to the station with interesting sights
and walk nearby especially the canal. Montparnasse is a 20 minutee
stroll away. The tour bus stops almost outside and of course the metro
is across the road. We had room 604 which us at the rear with a balcony
