The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location, across the road from the Old City walls and bus stop which goes to the TGV station. The regional train station is a very short walk. The room was very modern, clean and a good size. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The hotel is very well located being two minutes walk from the Central railway station and very close to the city gates. The hotel was comfortable with a very good parking facility which in the scheme of things was not expensive. The staff were by and large very helpful.

Stayed 3 nights in room 218 which was quiet (away from tour groups). Our stay was fuss-free. The hotel is relatively new and our room was spacious and practical. Car parking was easy and secure. Upon arrival we received complimentary drinks from the minibar. Perfect location (especially if travelling by train .) Lovely fresh and modern facilities. Good parking...easy to walk to all areas of Walled town. Pool would be fantastic in summer. lovely room in very nice hotel, staff all first class. great food at reasonable price. a convenient location for avignon and the surrounding area. will return next year. The staffs are the most friendly among all other 7 hotels which I stayed during this trip in French. Next to the train station but very quiet and convenient. The hotel seemed a bit understaffed on one occasion I waited 15 minutes to get a drink from the bar. One the Sunday of our stay there was a private "Brunch Party" around the pool with very loud music and a lot of youngsters drinking which meant we didn't really have use of the pool area. The hotel is on a busy road so that the double glazed windows have to remain closed. Reception not very welcoming...and I was put in room right at end of corridor. ( and certainly not busy) and reception was adamant I owed a higher rate... And in fact was proven to be incorrect. fire alarm in the middle of the night!. Nothing at all!!! All was great!. Nothing. Shower design should have a closed shower door to prevent water spillage outside shower. The Housekeeping staff did not properly replenish tissue box, used up paper and plastic cups and milk for coffee. The house maids did not replace teabags nor the paper cups. All 3 flimsy plastic drinking cups in the room were split & not useable. Food could have been served hotter. Wifi did not work for whole 3 days I spent there. As I was on a business trip, that was bad + stuff told each day that it will be fixed tomorrow but.... Slow service when, dining at night and breakfast had to request bacon as tray was empty then had to wait for a batch to be cooked. Long wait,!. They need to change their pillows which are really uncomfortable. The room had a smell of smoke. breakfast quite expensive, we ate outside the hotel for half the price. Restaraunt times are very restricted. Nothing. food menu. McDonald's has a conference on one of the nights I stayed, it was really noisy at 3am. I believe they had a party next door to my room. price is little higher. Sorry, but the cleaning staff needs revision. 1,The air conditioner doesn't work, the room is too hot in the summer. 2, some corner of the room is dirty. 3, there is no good restaurant nearby. Too expensive for the location (no view) and simplicity. I paid Eur 170 without breakfast.....for novotel. Awful wifi Very poor breakfast and very expensive Poor service. Garage elevator out of service, had to lug bags.Room design was fancier than practical. Glass wall between bathroom and bedroom. Rough paper instead of tissues. Food was disgusting and uneatable. No help with luggage. Free wi fi was a joke. It never worked for the six days we stayed at the hotel. Room cleaned insufficently.
