  The room was cozy, the bathroom was clean, the price was reasonable, the breakfast was okay, etc. But it's not the main point. How many times you read in big luxury hotel brochures "You feel at home with us"? How many times you really feel at home in hotels like these? This place is a completely different story. If you arrive to Beauvais-Tillé - We have stayed in 2-3 star hotels in Europe and this place beats them all with customer service and charm. We came back after missing the flight and it was like coming to little heaven especially after all Ryanair nightmares. They burn the fireplace every night and offer to buy wine. The owner warmed up croissants for breakfast which were absolutely the best croissants we've had in France. Owner also offered to print boarding passes which ryanair is strict about.   A very nice family and even willing to share a hair dryer. Helped get us to and from airport for less than a taxi. Has a cat but not allowed in room (I'm allergic and had absolutely no problem). Speaks little English which makes experience more charming.   We had an excellent overnight stay at Les Charmilles in a separate single storey villa with 3 or 4 rooms plus breakfast room. The room was adequate with a comfortable bed, shower room, clean and all facilities. The evening meal was wonderful, home cooked with aperetif, starter, main course, dessert, coffee and wine served through the meal.   We arrived late and the couple were very welcoming. It is 10 minutes drive from Beauvais airport, we rented a car as it is 50 Euro for a taxi. The couple offer a transfer for 30 Euro but was confusing to arrange as we did not speak French. They have 2 rooms, they are quirky and unique with a nice French style. Breakfast was nice, coffee, tea or hot chocolate with brea - The hosts are very helpful and take care of their guests like a family. The home and garden are a scenery in itself. It is a good place to relax after a tiring day of trip. The meals are very good. Also, they can offer to drive you to the town for 30 Euro back and forth. That is half the price of taking a taxi. All in all, I had a wonderful stay and I recommend this B&B to other travelers.

  Francois and Sylvain have achieved what so many others fail at - that perfect balance of an unobtrusive presence with the type of attentive service that seems to anticipate what you want before you've had a chance to ask! As always their superb taste and the qual - It is an extremely charming B&B that gives one the taste of living in a beautifully decorated and maintained 400 yr old house (apparently, it used to be a post-office). The host, Francois, is extremely friendly and accommodative of any requests the guest has. In our case, he allowed us an early check-in, provided us extra pillows for sleeping (to support my back, as I was 8 months pregnant) and made sure we always had vegetarian choices for both breakfast and dinner.
