The design of the room was just perfect... We wished we could have notleft! Modern Nordic design even in the wooden bathroom. Ahjo lounge barwas really good. Atmosfera - We really enjoyed our stay at Sokos Aleksanteri Hotel. The room was comfortable, cosy and quite. The location of the hotel is absolutely fine - in the center, but on a small quite street. The hotel position is great just few blocks away from central station.
Staff was kind and room clean, comfortable and soundproof, though the hotel is located directly on the street and just above the pub.
After check out they were also so kink to keep our (cabin size) luggage for the morning.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Breakfast was well-stocked and the bar and cafe on ground floor looked tidy and comfy. Room (twin) was clean and spacious, and had what I needed. Very well noise-insulated room, I did not hear a peep from outside. -

Perfect location, just a five-minute walk from the station and about 10 minutes to the Esplanade. Cozy, clean, well-occupated nice furnished modern room. Stable wi-fi connection in the room. Nice bed, choice of pillows. Pretty good hair-dryer in the bathroom. Friendly staff but that is usual for Finland I think. -

Location for attending the Flow Rock Festival (saw incredible Kraftwerk!!) and for bus travel to/from the airport was unbeatable.
Right next to the main train station/metro and facing an open bus staion - yet without any of that sleaziness that infects European train/bus stations.
Finns are just too nice to be sleazy and are also darn good-looking!!! They have to be the handsomest race I have ever or will ever see.
