  I was looking for an authentic Fiji experience and got it by staying in Lautoka rather than the more commercial resorts.   The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially with our young daughter who loved all the cuddles and dances she got with them. The food at the resort was great and the chef was a really lovely guy who even gave us the recipe for one of our favourite dishes.
