Our place was not yet made up so the very helpful front desk offered our extremely spacious (4-bed) family appartment or a maisonette-style (4-bed) w/o lift in the building that hosts cafe/breakfast. The location is only about 500m from the town square, the basement of one of its - This was a great Hotel. I booked it with my Father, we had an Apartment with seperate Bedrooms. The Service was very friendly, helpful and professional. They even booked for us a parking Lot in a different Hotel, because it was supervised. The Room is very big, modern, clean and comfortable. Leathersofa, Bathtub, seperate Toilet, Washing Machine, own closet Room for every Bedroom.   We liked the accommodation, the room was big, with nice new furniture, with balcony and it was a very quite place even though just few minutes walk from historical center of Cesky Krumlov. We will come again for s - Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

  Location and facilities are fantastic. A lot of the sport actvities, you could not get bored, however you could relax yourself. Very good for children - Staff, big apartments in a good condition.

  Everything! We had the 4 first floor rooms in the old house, wow, every room was full of vintage items and antiquities of all sorts, access to the garden too which would have been lovely if the weather had been kinder. The car park and security was the reason we picked this hotel and they were very security conscious. We wish we - The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend this hotel.

  This is the perfect place to stay for a visit in cesky krumlov. The rooms are located above a cute antique store that sells many interesting items. The owner is very friendly and stayed up to wait for us to check in at 10pm. He also provided us with useful information on the sites to visit and the exchange office with the best rates.
