  After a weekend of alcoholic debauchery in Brno, my girlfriend and me had a last stop at Prague before leaving home. And really, this was such a difference compared to what we've experienced in Brno. The stop was the Golden Star hotel, a home from home with friendly personnel who helped us immediately. Sure, the climb up - We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

  First of all, Prague is just exquisitely beautiful. The apartment is well located near the river for romantic evening strolls. It is also not far from Old Town and all of the nightlife and shopping available there. The apartment is fully equipped with brand new Miele appliances, including a washer and dryer. The emails with the contact person were quickly answered. With her help we had booked a taxi to pick us up at the airport. We already required a late check in and our plane was over an hour late arriving after midnight. The taxi driver waited for us and gave us the keys to the apt. We were very grateful. The restaurant across the street was great too.
