Beautiful apartment, fitted out to a very high standard and with a very large balcony. Pebble beach with very clear sea is at the end of the driveway. Hosts were lovely and very friendly - they even held a barbecue evening for all their guests free of charge and made vegetarian food especially for us. -

Extremely comfortable apartment situated close to all the major sights of Zadar and the cafés and restaurants. The apartment owners are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for them. Towels are changed regularly, more or less on a daily basis and they even provided us with champagne glasses for our sparkling wine when they noticed the plastic glasses we were using! Absolutely loved this place. THe hosts were simply amazing. Thoughtful and thorough. It was just so sad we only got to stay here for the one night. On our return to Zadar we will definitely stay here longer and will try to saty at this apartment.

The apartment was clean and well-furnished with many thoughts given to guest comfort. The hosts offered to both meet us at the airport and return us to the airport at a fraction of the cost of a taxi. The Batur family was quiet helpful in answering our queries. Apartment was clean and well kept. Bus stop is nearby - 5-10 mins walk. A further 10-15 mins bus ride to the old city. Our stay at Apartments Petra was wonderful. The hostess, Ileana, is so welcoming and gives great travel/sightseeing ideas. We were welcomed with lemoncello and enjoyed delicious cherry brandy (homemade!) the next day. Great location just a few meters from the beach. Room was comfy and the area very calm. Lovely old lady running the show when I was there - the mother of the owner I think. She didn't speak English but that wasn't really a problem. Coffee and a shot of slivo on the house upon arrival. What else can you ask for? Great overall value.

Traveling is about people. And this is what you'll find here. Friendly people who will greet you like an old friend. The clean room, nice little kitchen or large bathroom didn't even matter for me anymore. Take the distance to the old town as a nice walking tour in an area which is not tourist, an area just for you where you can observe the real life of Zadar.

Accommodation was as we expected it to be from description and reviews. Perfectly fit for purpose. No problems about checking in early. Plenty of off street parking. Helpful owner. As previous reviewers have said, the walk into town was a very pleasant 20 minute stroll. Lots of restaurants on the same street as the apartments within 10 minutes walk. About double that to get the sea view whilst eating.

We had such a great experience in Villa Zaratina. The host, Maria, was
really kind, helpful, and accomodating. Maria arranged transportation
from the airport to the villa and when We arrived around midnight, she
was there waiting for us. We got there pretty hungry and she took us
