The location of Villa Squero was perfect. The first 2 nights we stayed in the attic room where we were happy except for the bonking of our heads on the angled ceiling. The view is incredible, looking back at Rovinj and watching the boats come and go. The second 2 nights were with a balcony on the floor below. We dearly loved the room and sitti

We just loved everything. From the location to the fantastic breakfast on the terrace to the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Also, the little touches, like the bottle of sparkling water in the fridge and a gateau to nibble each evening on our return. The hotel is so good for both the old town of Rovinj and also for the wonderful coast line, which we could explore on the free bikes which we got from the hotel. The owners were very friendly and even though we arrived late (at 3 a.m.!!) because we had car problems, they didn't seem to have a problem with it.

We loved everything about this hotel and the region in general. The rooms are large, clean and beautifully appointed; the views are stunning; Breakfasts are delicious and served on a terrace overlooking the Adriatic. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the beautiful old town of Rovinj.

The appartment was very clean and is was enough space for three people. The bed broke down by sitting on it, but that wasn't your fault. You were helpful and took a look at it instantly. I think that it's not okay when people ruin something and don't say it to the host.

It wasn't far to town. You would not need a car for -
good value for money, pleasant owner with excellent English, kitchen well supplied with dishes, pots, etc. Only 12 minute walk to centre, very quiet and comfortable, little terrace area.

Fantastic location - getting the boat to and from the mainland wasn't a problem as it was always punctual and the crew were helpful and polite.
Really beautiful hotel - extremely clean and kept very well. The views of the old town are incredible.
Staff - all were helpful, polite and spoke excellent English.
Value for money - it is hard to believe that this is only a 2* hotel as facilities, pool, room etc were all of a high standard

The location in the centre of Rovinj is excellent - adjacent to the port and exactly what we wanted. Lots of activity there and great views. The staff are extremely helpful and the food in the hotel restaurant was first class. - Perfect location overlooking the harbor. Sea view rooms are superior.
