  It is a great location right in the center of town across from the beach but it is an older hotel and could use some renovation. The beds were just fair and the bathrooms were old. It was probably quite a jewel in its day but its day has passed.   The owners are very approacheable and reliable. They organized my transfers perfectly and at a lower cost than local cabs. The location of the guesthouse is very good, only a 2 minute walk to the historic centre and Diocletian Palace, and a 7 minute walk to the port (from where you can take the boats and ferries to the islands). From - Guest House Laura is run by a lovely lady,Ines.It is only a stones throw from the main shopping mall and the Palace,seafront etc and walking distance from the port and bus/ train station.I loved it.

  We asked for a double room when we booked but got a twin instead, the manager changed our room within 5 minutes. Breaky was great too. Location was amazing too. Would recommend this place to anyone.   We were contacted by text to find out our arrival time so we could be greeted, despite being extremely late, we received an excellent welcome and were helped to our room. Could not be more impressed with the helpfulness and professionalism! The room was in an amazing location right in the palace. This was a rather basic option, but very well located and suitable for a couple of nights stay. Ana, Ivana and Kate were all very pleasant and helpful.
