  The staff on reception and dining room where very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to be accommodating. We have been there before and were not disappointed with the second visit. Room had a nice balcony with sea views. - We arrived a bit early and got a room immediately - feels good after some hours spent on the road..

  This is the second time in this hotel... Great location if you are interested in cultural tours and in Rab city... I would not recommend it for families with kids, they should choose a place on the seaside... But for us it was the right place.. Will come again definetely... Breakfasts are always great...   The hotel is obviously old (as almost any hotel in Opatija) but I liked the way they tried to keep it clean and pleasant for tourists. The rooms are big enough, staff really friendly. The view from the balcony is great. 10 min walk to the very center. It is located a bit further than other hotels and just a bit away from the road which is good. We were upgraded into G H Adriatic I. Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold with an outstanding selection. We were so impressed we stayed on for an additional two days on a half board basis which at 72 Euro was outstanding value. No hesitation in recommending this hotel.

  We had one of the apartments and it was huge! There were decks to sit out on to take in the view. Very comfortable beds, large bathroom, everything very clean and nicely decorated.Breakfast selections were amazing - almost anything you could want! We changed hotel after we spent two nights in an awful resort and were lucky enough to get a room in the Grand Hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly, the food was lovely and our room with a balcony felt like a small apartment rather than a room. Thanks for a fabulous stay, we're looking forward to coming back!

  Very nice and friendly staff, they even drive you to the party beach Zrce (and pick you up in the morning!). The room for 8 persons was big enough and clean.
