  We loved the charm of the hotel, its cleaniness and coziness.   Fantastic hotel with great access to all Makarska has to offer. After an initial mix up with our booking, this was fixed without any fuss and the next day we also received a beautiful fruit basket and bottle of wine from the management. Breakfast was probably the best we had been offered on our Europe trip, fresh and plentiful every morning regardl - Best place we have stayed- location can't get any better than that.The service from 1st day to last was 1st class.The view from balcony awesome- food great and plentiful. Pool very relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there.Will be returning again to Hotel Meteor. Makarska is a wonderful place and Hotel Meteor made it more enjoyable

  The decoration and interior design of the hotel is just beautiful. Rooms were so clean. Greeting from very friendly receptionist on arrival was great as found the Croatians to be incredibly sour and unfriendly, SO we nearly fell over with the warmth of the greeting! Loved the sauna in the room. Close to other fabulous beaches including Brela and Baska Voda. Wonderful staff especially Dragana at reception. She is a gem and couldn't do enough for us.   The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are there for you in whatever way you need them. The hotel itself is located literally 10 seconds away from the beach. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to spend all day at the beach and coming back to our room whenever we liked. The hotel room was massive! Very comfortable.
