  It's location. Close to the Pile Gate, so perfect for exploring the Old Town, and also the drop off for the airport shuttle bus (though not on the way back - the return shuttle leaves from the Cable car bus stop). The view from our room was outstanding, with the Lovrijenac Fortress out of one window, and the City Walls ou - The restaurant staff kindly carried our bags to our very clean room, which was nice of them. The location could not have been better - so close to the beach and to Pile Gate. Great for mid- to low-range budget travellers who want easy access to the beach and the walled city. The onsite staff at the B+B were really pleasant and friendly. Dubrovnik itself is a stunning place (rivals Venice, but has a better atmosphere generally) and in a beautiful location on the Adriatic

Aircon and wifi excellent unlike some other places we stayed . The host made us pita and offered drinks on arrival and was very kind and friendly . Our kids didn't want to leave - The apartment was clean and spacious. It is closed to the town center and to the beach. The restaurant Magellan situated in the 5th floor is very nice.
