  We highly recommend staying at this studio. It was impeccably clean and comfortable and has all the amenities one could wish for including a washing machine, large tv, dvd player (+dvds), microwave etc. Mirica and Vicko are such welcoming hosts who make sure that you have everything you need. The balcony is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the afternoon sun after a day of activities! - Vicko meeting us at ferry port in his big 4x4, and later taking us back. Since it wasn't booked and we stayed for 2 days he let us have a very spacious duplex apt so I cannot comment on what the smaller rooms are like. Korcula is a gorgeous little gem of a town and I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant prices which seem to be much cheaper than those in the other very touristy places we stayed in - Split, Brac, Hvar, Cavtat.

  The apartment is exactly as described, situated in a brilliant location to explore Korcula (just a few steps away from the main gate to the old city and a short walk away to the bus station) and it's easy to find (right behind the main post office). We had to collect the keys from a travel agency situated on the main street just outside the old ci... co mówią ludzie » ty, on the way from the bus station to the apartment, which in fact makes things very easy. The decoration is very nice, the kitchen is fully equipped - Good location just outside the main entrance to the old town (so you avoid having to go up the steps with luggage!). The apartment was a good size, cool and comfortable. The bathroom was big but the as others have noted the shower cubicle was small. It was actually fine, but if you were overweight then it could be an issue.

  It was newly renovated - Lovely modern hotel, with spacious rooms. Woman at reception was most friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance into town. Great breakfast.

  I liked everything about that place! The owner Marijana met me right at the boat port, led me to her house (3min walk), explained about what there was to do and what was happening on korcula during my stay. She was amazing, her apartment super clean (room and toilet). Facilities are okay but you really do not need more than wifi air conditioning a... co mówią ludzie » nd a closet. - Just outside walled city (still in historical Korcula), half-way between city center and bus station (useful to explore other towns on the island). Short walk to ferry terminals as well. Friendly staff (picked up at the terminal to show the way and we even got a nice goodbye present). When you go, don't forget to pet Marco the cat :)

  I have booked this acomodation because the prices where acceptable and the property is situated in the hearth of the old city, 2 min walk from Marko Polo birth house. I was just passing trough Korcula and I am very sorry I didn't have the chance to stay in this place longer. It's is much more nice live than on pictures. The o - Carpe Diem was a beautiful authentic house with all original features and comforts in the heart of Korcula old town - the owners were fantastic - met us from the Dubrovnik bus and thought of everything for our stay including local wine, fruit and milk in the fridge on arrival. They were very kind and hospitable and I would thoroughly recommend this property - it is beautiful.

  Very friendly staff - picked us up from the bus station even though we hadn't arranged it in advance (we just started chatting to a local guy near the bus stop who turned out to be his neighbour - probably not that strange in little Korcula!), and there was a little bottle of grapa (strong grape-based digestif) in the fridge to greet us. Also, before I bo - We had a room with a balcony overlooking a small garden area and beyond that the sea. Sergio and his wife, Simoni, made us very welcome and even put a small bottle of local spirit in the fridge for us. The Guest House was only a minute walk to the beach and the numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed our short stay at Guest House Leon and would stay there again if we were in Korcula. Many thanks Sergio and Simoni.

The location is right in the middle of old town with access to the best restaurants and sights literally just a few steps away.   I managed to get Maria's fourth room which is in the adjacent street to the others. It is actually a little self contained apartment in a cool, cellar-like location. Great atmosphere and I felt as if I really was living in a' real' local house. I loved Korcula, definitely a highlight of Croatia and this little flat was the perfect base to explore ... co mówią ludzie » from. Maria doesn't speak much English but is very friendly. - The apartment we had was a tastefully modernised mediaeval stone dwelling in very quiet side street, in heart of the old town, although there are other rooms in next street too where Maria lives. TV and air-con included, and very good value. Maria was more than helpful at all times. It was perfect for us. Attractions, harbour and restaurants only 2 minutes away. Wonderful stay.

  We stayed in a room with double bed for one night, just on our way to Hvar from Dubrovnik. We took a semi-private van from Dubrovnik and our driver took the liberty of calling Guest House Korunic's owner (a really nice lady!) to come meet us so that was great to not have to try and find it ourselves - though I think it would have been relatively e... co mówią ludzie » asy to find otherwise as it is about a 30-second walk away from the entrance to the old town. Location is great! The Jadrolina ferry office and a bank - Guest House Korunić was great. It is located in the middle of town about 3 min walk from the ferry stop. The rooms are clean and tidy. The bathrooms are new and clean. We stayed here for one night and we are wishing we stayed for more. Korcula looks like a great town small but not as touristy as Dubrovnik. We were also meet at the ferry which was unexpected but awesome as we would have struggled to find the place in town.

  We received a very warm welcome from our host who helped us park the car and carried our bags to the aprtment.Our 2 bedroom apartment was very well furnished and had a fully equipped kitchen.From the shaded balcony we had an amazing view of the Old Town of Korcula and the port. We would love to visit again and recommend this apartment. excellent val - After staying here 2 years ago I was so impressed that I've returned. The apartments are clean, spacious, with an amazing view and location. Neno was amazing, he showed true warmth and hospitality. The boat trip organised though Neno was outstanding in which we saw the magnificent islands surrounding Korcula with just ourselves and Mario, the local policeman. Korcula itself it's a beautiful island with magnificent beaches, landscape and culture. I would highly recommend this to anybody.
