The staff were so welcoming, professional and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the chef came out to ask if we were hungry and, although he was right at the end of his shift he cooked us the most amazing steak dinner! The young guy on reception was so helpful too - while we were waiting with a drink he came over and asked us what time we needed a shuttle service to the airport and whether we would like breakfast in the restaurant, our bedroom or packed up for us! The room was perfect

The hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff is professional and kind. Room was great, beds comfortable, bathroom spacious. Swimming pool and gym at the top of the hotel was great.

They helped us in everything (e.g. one of them arranged even the paying for parking via her mobile phone while we were sleeping :) and after that she helped us to find one of the few free parking places around the hostel. Amazing location; a few minute walk from central train station and city center. This is a beautifully restored old building with a great view of the park; near bars, shopping and transportation (tram). The rooms are huge, high ceilings, grand style, modern and very comfortable. Host is friendly and very helpful. Would strongly recommend for visitors to Zagreb; can't be beat for price. We also were able to park in courtyard which was very convenient!
