  Staff is great. Location is great with a 10 minute walk to the terminal, even in the snow, which I have done several times in the last few years. No need for an expensive taxi, or to wait for a hotel shuttle. (Next closest hotel is a few miles away and requires a taxi or the not always perfect shuttle service.)   Having worked for a well known brand of hotel provider in the uk, I was immediately impressed with the attitude of all the staff towards the customer. They take the attitude of promoting the company they work for by really putting that little bit extra into their roles. The chef came into the dining room to ask if food was ok. All such little extras were high - The staff were so welcoming, professional and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the chef came out to ask if we were hungry and, although he was right at the end of his shift he cooked us the most amazing steak dinner! The young guy on reception was so helpful too - while we were waiting with a drink he came over and asked us what time we needed a shuttle service to the airport and whether we would like breakfast in the restaurant, our bedroom or packed up for us! The room was perfect

The breakfast in the morning was great. I could tell that the people who run this hotel really care about the hotel and the guests. It was a perfect and restful night's sleep for a layover in Zagreb.
