This amazing boutique hotel, in the middle of downtown Santa Marta, is
exactly what I needed for my long 11 day stay. It's apparent that
the owners did not cut any corner in the design, construction, decor, or
furnishing. Everything was tactfully well put together. Even the staff
members were carefully hand selected. They are friendly and helpful. The
3 front desk professional young men all speak English, which was a major
criteria for me. Each room has it's own decor. Clean and spacious

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels world wide for business and leisure
and this is probably the one of the best... Small boutique hotel close
to all the restaurants... Most of the staff spoke perfect English (the
most on our 3 week trip through Colombia) and they were so helpful with
everything... The small pool area was so tranquil - it was an cool and
quiet oasis from the heat in Santa Marta... The rooms are large and very
well designed... Breakfast was included and it was great ! For the

we planned to stay one night and after a great experience stayed for 2 more nights...the last night we took the suit which was excellent.
The rooms are beautiful, the hotel is clean, the facilities are great, the staff is unbelievable - speak fluent English, kind & helpful, amazing breakfast. Definitely the best hotel in Santa Marta. Don't think twice - it's the best choice for a quit, luxury vacation in this area.
Quality is unmatched. Attention to detail. Relaxation and Service from staff. Breakfast is like home at the terrace. The bathroom is well integrated into the room, Bathroom soap/shampoos are top brand L'occitane. Ambiance and smells are tropical (this is the kind of hotel that feels great to walk bare feet, you know it's clean).
The uniqueness and decor of the rooms was stylish, a bit rustic and
unpretentious. The kids loved the jacuzzi/pool. Each room had very
unique touches that we will never forget. The breakfast was light,
healthy and excellent all at the same time. We would definitely go back.
The staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. The building was beautiful and very well designed. Our room was gorgeous and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to stay here again.

As a solo traveller the staff were very helpful and explained how to get around Santa Marta. Casa de Leda is a really well run establishment and is very central and accessible.

WiFi signal was too weak inside the rooms at times, but owners assured
me that this will be taken care of real soon.
Location and parking (found a place without "NO PARKING" sings 4 blocks away, at the 17th street between carrera 1 and 2). Walking is easy because the blocks are short, and nightlife is nearby, however walk with eyes backward, don't flash phones and cameras, this is downtown.
The location was not in an area that I would say is attractive for
tourists. Santa Martha needs improvement in infrastructure and changes
that will attract more international tourism. We were able to enjoy a
nice clean beach in a day trip.
There were a lot if Mosquitoes we were bitten a lot in our room.
The pool was indoors no sun bathing!! This was the only critic I ca n do to the hotel.
