Featuring traditional Chinese décor in public area, Ancient City International Youth Hostel offers simply furnished rooms and free Wi-Fi in all areas. Hostel Ancient City International Youth is a 4-minute walk from Ming Dynasty City Wall, an 8-minute walk from Muslim Street and a 12-minute walk from Bell and Drum Tower. It is 3 km from Xi'an Railway Station. Xianyang International Airport is about a 1-hour taxi ride. All air-conditioned units come with 24-hour hot water, a writing desk and a telephone. A wardrobe and a flat-screen cable TV can be found in some room types. All bathrooms have shower facilities. The property has a small entertaining area where guests can play a game of billiards or table tennis. Luggage storage, laundry and dry cleaning are all available. Guests can make use of the fax and photocopying facilities to catch up with their last-minute work. Relaxing on the sun terrace after a day of tours is also a nice choice. The on-site Gucheng Qing Bar serves a variety of Chinese and Western food. Breakfast buffet can be enjoyed as well.

This hostel is the best I've stayed in China, though the room/ bathroom were small the bed was as comfortable as a 5 star hotel and they have all sorts of facilities to make the life of a traveller easier and more fun, like laundry facilities and a pool table. The staff was great and the location just perfect, walking distance to all major attractions and next to a metro station in case you're not in the mood for wandering.

Within easy walking distance of many attractions, the Muslim night market and the subway line. The room was clean and comfortable and the available food service was good. AND they had cold Carlsberg on tap- a real bonus!. A 'wow' hostel! Rather a hotel! Spacious, modern, great facilities, nice staff, fair prices in the bar compared to other prices. I was upgraded to a 3 bed dorm for free. And it was already quite a budget deal! Only aspect: The "hostel life" was not too big when I was there - but that can be a huge pro too :-). The staff was great : almost all were English speaking, and they were always ready to help with anything. The location was also very good : in the middle of the city center at the biggest crossraods of the city, you can't miss it. The food was also really good, and not too expensive. Excellent location price and facilities. Room was huge, with flat screen TV, kettle, amazing shower and free wifi. It's 10 minutes to the Bell Tower, North Gate and Muslim Quarter. Everything, stuff speaks english, they are very helfull, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, localization is great - just near the subway, behind police station - easy to find. They're expensives, althought the food is good. nothing. Took me about two hours to find after getting off at the right bus stop. It's basically next to the police station tucked round the back of other accomodation. The shower booth is really small. WiFi signal was crappy. Restaurant is a bit extensive. - Very poor internet connection while we were there. There was a bad smell from the toilet in our room. The electricity went out every day, but for a short time. On booking com. They set information that breakfast are included- it’s no precision beceause included is only for first night, next is price for such breakfast- for two adults and 5y.O. child (1 coffee, 1 tea, 6 tosts and 1 egg) 90 rmb- in China could be eat good diner in good restaurant. And most funy was that they gave 5 Y.O. child black coffee to drink. And next on the website was that they don’t need any provision - it’s a lie, they took 200 rmb. -no change bathroom towels(stay 4 night) -color painting smell -no wifi in room.
