This is a beautifully-maintained older motel with unusually large comfortable rooms. The owners were polite and helpful. The location is excellent if you do not demand to stay in Victoria's compact and enjoyable center city, This motel is an easy car or bus ride to the most main attractions and next to a mall with a diverse food court. There is an incredible amount of storage space. Note that Butchart gardens and the castle are apparently not near any lodging but well worthwhile and reachable b.
wszystkie opinie » Friendly service. Requested items promptly supplied. Building is older wood construction, but room was clean. Bathroom was newly refurbished and clean. Free wifi worked well. Starbucks is around the corner. Dennys and at least 2 other restaurants are within 2 blocks. Close to bus stops, but located on a quiet street - no traffic noise at night. Owners very helpful. We had a very comfortable stay at the Mayfair. The staff were very very nice and helpful and the motel had everything we needed. Good mattresses. Kitchen facilities in room were a great way to save money on meals out. The mall right across the road was super handy for us. Our room was roomy and quiet, and was very clean and well-tended. Super friendly couple when greet you with a handshake,ask you to call if you need anything. Free parking at rear.Suite was excellent and we felt very much at home. at the rear from the Mayfair mall, Tim Horton's up the street,Denny's,Starbucks next door as well as KFC on corner. We will definitely stay here again. Friendly staff who were prepared to go out of their way to make guests comfortable. Appreciated manager taking the time to escort me to my room. Thanks for making me feel so welcome!!. The price was affordable. It was clean. Bathroom stuff were clean and sufficient. They helped us to keep some of our stuff in the fridge even after check-out. I liked the cleanliness of the bathroom and the fact the room was like a bachellor suite , with small kitchen and bed was set back in its oun "room" space . This family run hotel is a dated, older motel well-removed from the heart of Victoria, but for the price it provides an adequate rest. There is free parking, the room is quite large, and the owners are honest. The bathroom was clean and acceptable. For someone staying on a tight budget, this place provides adequate accommodation. A large refrigerator and microwave over are available to all guests, but the stove is not supposed to be used by regular summer guests. No silverware or microwavable cups and plates are provided in this rather complete kitchen. There are nearby convenience stores, but a supermarket is not within walking distance. The motel is slightly off the Trans- Canada highway on a dead-end street and parking is limited but adequate. No complaints, great value. Nothing!. There was no coffee maker in the room although there was a Starbucks coffee shop right around the corner. It was hot on that day and there is no cooling mechanism, they said it aws an unusual high temperature. Need to leave the windows open to keep the room comfortable to sleep but the street noise was a bit annoying. Nothing. The stair up to the room were narrow. None. Would have liked to see a few things in kitchen like a towel, dish cloth and some basic dishes. There was nothing we didn't like. Great place!. No tea/coffee facilities Kitchenette usage police. Next room noise but that calmed down by midnight. Wi-Fi didn't work properly. Towels in the bathroom were not of good quality or lengthy. No coffee maker provided with coffee. Use of kitchen was off limits. No utensiles, even if you could use it. Other reviewers suggested this motel is "new" or "newer". It is definitely not...it is old and dated. Such misrepresentation is indicative or dishonesty, a very low intelligence, or lack of travelling experience.
