The staff was courteous and willing to help with any matter. The rooms were exceptionally clean and aired before our arrival. The beds were very comfortable and, despite the cold weather, we felt cozy and warm throughout the night. Highly recommended stay and should be ranked far higher than just 2 stars. It is no accident that L' Opera has among the best scores (if not the best) on letsbookhotel.com for Sofia, as the quality offered for the price quoted is amazing.
wszystkie opinie » It is a very comfortable, home-like, cosy hotel; extremely clean and at a perfect location. The rooms are very well heated (in winter; and equipped with air conditioning for the hot months) and one can't hear the traffic. The staff is very accommodating (thank you for making our stay a most pleasant one!). It is a good value for money. I'd recommend it to anyone. Excellent location, just a couple of minutes walk from the Alexander Nevsky church, and situated in a fairly quiet side street. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped, with air-con, fridge and computer. The staff are friendly and speak good English. The breakfast is nice. Excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay here again. Very nice location in the heart of the Sofia Center, however, as very quiet experienced, despite the busy boulevards around it. Room was really comfy and breakfast was great. We asked quite a lot from the staff and they could not have been more helpful. Have stayed in Sofia before this was twice as nice as half the price. The hotel is close to Vasil Levski Stadium - bus parking for trips from Sofia. We were going from Sofia to Greece, so it was convenient for us 2. I have to think too much to find something i didnt like.Maybe the fact that there is no lift could be a problem for the elderly. external bathroom is annoying for lazy people, but fine. The bathroom was separate from the bedroom. Facilities are a bit limited. No 24 hour reception. No bar or public sitting area. The separate bathroom wasn't ideal. Not sure where to find nice small modern restaurants or bars. The transport service is somewhat expensive (3 times more than what a taxi would cost) so probably better avoid it. Pillows pretty hard. Breakfast a little limited. But at this price, these are not reasons to complain. Nothing !!!. Nothing not to like. Separated bathroom, as in most hotels partly blocked drainage. a faint smell of smoke in the building (tho not in my room) , or alternatively a sickly sweet artificial odour.
