  We stayed at the Kaliakra Apartment. Vip advise 3 days before you arrive which apartment you will be staying in. They arranged a transfer from the airport for 18 Euros. The apartment was modern, very comfortable and very close to a 24hour supermarket and the European Union Metro Station.   We rented the apartment on our second visit to Sofia as the place we were using before was booked. We were very happy with the property. The apartment is very well furnished and extremely clean, it has a lot of space and natural light. Apparently Sofia is not that big so we never had to use subway or even taxi - all the points of interest were within a wal - Sofia came on our radar last minute as a mid stop on our road trip to Greece so we didn't have a lot of time to plan. The apartment looked good and at a reasonable price so we came with no expectations. Still we left our heart in Sofia and partly it was because of this choice. The place is great - clean, tidy and cozy, and with a perfect location on a quiet street at the very center.
